Aya Mikage is a 16-year-old girl with a mixed heritage of human and tennyo blood, a direct descendant of Ceres, a Celestial maiden. Her family's history is marked by the theft of Ceres' hagoromo, a celestial robe that allows a tennyo to return to the heavens, and its subsequent loss has led to a mix of human and divine bloodlines. Aya's 16th birthday marks a turning point as her grandfather attempts to kill her due to her unique abilities to tap into her tennyo powers and become Ceres herself.
