Takuru Miyashiro, a third-year student, notices a correlation between recent mysterious deaths in rebuilt Shibuya and a series of gruesome murders known as "New Generation Madness" from six years prior. The original incidents occurred during a period of mass hysteria that culminated in a devastating earthquake. The recent deaths prompt Miyashiro and his school newspaper club to investigate, leading them to uncover more information than they bargained for.
