Chibi Maruko-chan: My Favorite Song

Sakura Momoko's third-grade class is tasked with creating artwork based on their favorite song for a contest. Momoko chooses a song from her music class and wants to draw a great image, but her anxiety is evident. During a trip to Shizuoka to visit family, she encounters Shouko Kimura, a university student who draws portraits at the local train station and is also entering an art contest. Kimura's illustrations impress Momoko, who meets her again, and despite their age difference, the two form a connection.
