Descendants of Darkness

Tsuzuki Asato, a 26-year-old shinigami with over 70 years of experience, works in the worst division with poor pay. His job is to ensure that the dead remain dead and stay in their designated realms. He's had difficulty keeping partner shinigami in the past, but his current partner, 16-year-old Kurosaki Hisoka, seems to be sticking around. Hisoka is stubborn, smart-mouthed, and serious, but Tsuzuki's relationship with him is growing stronger as they investigate cases, including those related to the serial killer Dr. Muraki Kazutaka.
