Michi Sonoda, a dedicated judoka, announces to her teammate Sanae Takigawa that she'll be quitting judo after her final middle school tournament. This decision comes as a surprise to Sanae, who got into judo due in part to Michi's passion for the sport. Michi's motivation for quitting appears to be focused on exploring other aspects of her youth, such as relationships.
