Nagasaki 1945 ~ The Angelus Bells

The anime Nagasaki 1945 ~ The Angelus Bells is set in August 1945 at a converted theological seminary hospital on the outskirts of Nagasaki. Dr. Tatsuru Akiyama, a young doctor, treats patients while grappling with the devastating news of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Following the second nuclear attack on Nagasaki, the hospital staff, including Dr. Akiyama, face the enormous challenge of saving lives amidst the city's destruction.
