The Poem of Wind and Trees

Serge Battour returns to his elite boarding school in France in 1887, bringing back memories of his youth. Born out of wedlock to a viscount and a Roma prostitute, Serge's family background has made him an outcast in his own social circle. At the school, he shared a room with Gilbert Cocteau, a young man who was a loner and also struggled with his circumstances. Despite their initial failures to connect, there was an undeniable attraction between them.
