F-Zero: GP Legend

Rick Wheeler, a former police detective, was involved in a fatal car accident while investigating the notorious Zoda. He was put into 150 years of artificial hibernation until Jody Summer and Dr. Stewart revived him. Wheeler then joined forces with Jody and other honest racers to counter the influence of the Dark Million Organization, led by Black Shadow and Deathborn, and the corrupting power of their prize money.
