FLCL Alternative

Kana Koumoto's daily routine in her small Japanese town is uneventful and repetitive. She spends her time at school, socializing with friends, and engaging in hobbies like painting her nails and listening to music. This sense of monotony is disrupted when Kana and her friends attempt to launch a bottle rocket into space. The project is ruined by a robot crash, followed by the arrival of a pink-haired woman claiming to be a Galactic Investigator, which sets off a chain of unexpected events in Kana's life.
