Gachiakuta

Rudo, a resident of the town's slums, lives in a community where waste is abundant and often discarded carelessly. He spends his days searching for reusable materials to scavenge from the town's trash. Rudo's adoptive father Regto warns him of the dangers, but Rudo's habit of scavenging continues. Regto is later murdered, and Rudo is accused and thrown into the Pit, a vast disposal area used as a form of punishment.
