Masamune Datenicle

The story follows young Date Masamune, a 17th-century Japanese warlord from the Date clan, who took their name from the Date region in what is now part of the city of Date. The anime is a product of Gainax's Fukushima studio, which produced it as part of the "Kirari na Wonder Project" to promote local tourism. Masamune's coming-of-age journey will be showcased through the production.
