Nagito Komaeda, a student at Hope's Peak Academy, is an unremarkable boy without exceptional talents. However, his life is marked by a string of unfortunate events, which he seems to attract with an uncanny frequency. Despite this, Komaeda has found a sense of contentment in his ordinary life. The arrival of a boy claiming to be the "Destroyer of the World" disrupts this fragile equilibrium.
