Krystal Novaty, the princess from another world known as Hime, had fled to modern-day Japan a decade ago to escape an evil force's assassination attempts. She made a promise with Haruto Satou to forget their initial encounter and become friends. However, Haruto eventually regained his memories and traveled to the Nokanatika Kingdom, arriving just in time to disrupt Krystal's marriage ceremony to Prince Marmarugias Gisaras. An abyss monster's attack forced Krystal to use the power of exchanging rings with Haruto, which granted Gisaras the ability to fight back.
