Mantarou Kinniku, the 59th prince of Planet Kinniku and son of King Suguru, is a far cry from his heroic father. He's lazy, immature, and cowardly, with little to prove himself as a worthy successor. When a powerful group known as the dMP threatens Earth, a plan emerges for Mantarou to take up his father's mantle, but he initially resists his duty.
