The anime Zenonzard The Animation (OVA) takes place in the year 20XX, where humans called "Concodes" and advanced AI called "Codeman" form teams to compete in the card battle game ZENOZARD. The global ZENOZARD championships, known as THE ZENON, are underway, drawing massive crowds. Souta Azuma, a typical high school student, is unexpectedly challenged to a battle by Eilietta Lash, a Codeman with mysterious intentions, who offers to team up with him for THE ZENON.
