Zoids Genesis

Zoids Genesis takes place on planet Zi, which was ravaged by natural disasters nearly a thousand years ago. The few remaining humans have rebuilt their civilization by recovering ancient Zoids through salvage and mining operations. In a village, a boy discovers an ancient Liger-type Zoid while on a deep-sea salvage mission. The village is subsequently attacked by skeletal Bio-Zoids seeking a powerful generator, prompting the boy to awaken the Liger and join forces to defend his home.
